PART 5 OPTIONS
It's been a few days since your trip to the vet with Eden. Despite her calling the two of you friends, you had barely interacted since then. In fact, it almost felt like she was avoiding you. You try to remember if you did anything that could have upset her, but your mind comes up blank.
As you sit next to her in class, the teachers voice barely registering in your head, you decide to take matters into your own hands. "Hey," you whisper, "um, do you want to go somewhere after school?"
Eden, who had been painting away at her nails just like the first time you met her, looks over at you, brow quirked. "Huh? Are you asking me on a date?"
Your face heats up, and you hurry to explain yourself, "No-no! I just meant, do you wanna hang out, as friends."
The smirk that appears on her face makes it obvious that she had just been teasing you, and you feel silly for being so easily toyed with. Reclining back in her seat, she says, "Alright, sure. Where are we going?"

It had been a few days since Alex opened up to you a bit in the music room. The two of you had interacted here and then since, but nothing substantial. You tried not to go to the music room every day, worried that he would eventually get sick of you. Still, if you wanted to get closer to him, you were going to have to make the first move. Thus, at the end of the school day, you once again found yourself in the music room. Alex glanced up at you briefly, before turning his attention back to the piano.
You wait a bit for him to finish playing, then, before he can start the song over again, you say, "We should go somewhere together."
At your words, Alex fully focuses his attention on you, a blank look on his face. "Huh?"
Ah. Maybe you should word that better so it doesn't sound like some poor attempt at asking him on a date. Not that you'd mind. Sucking in a breath, you say, "What I mean is, do you wanna hang out?"
"Um..." He toys on the bottom of his lip, brows furrowed in consideration. After a moment, he nods in agreement, "Sure, I guess. Go where?"
You tried to think of a place that someone like Alex would enjoy...or at least not be miserable at.
