i don't want to pretend to know anything about anyone's mental state, but i seriously hope jaemin is okay. he just seems so off these days, he reminds me a lot of mingi (from ateez) before mingi went on hiatus due to anxiety

He used to write A LOT on bbl/lysn but not anymore....which made me think that something was happening.
But then i saw him in the latest Dream contents and it looks like.... he isn't a "morning person". He seems to be super hyper at night only.
He doesn't seem to care about showing a "happy/bright personality" always which for me is good.
Or SM is pushing the "prince image" on him....

he's my bias so i pay more attention to him than anyone else other than doyoung or taeyong and the difference in him between now and ridin' promotions is like night and day. mingi didn't say anything either until he went on hiatus and i just knew something was wrong with him months before he did so. yes, at the end of the day it's his business but obviously idols can't be like "oh i'm so overworked" or tell us how they really feel. taeyong's situation also got way too bad before they gave him a break, and maybe that was also because of taeyong himself being such a workaholic that he refused to take one (i wouldn't know), but my original point about him still stands. that i hope he's okay and to add to that, if he's not, that he's not afraid to ask for help or a break. we have actual artists under sm who have killed themselves because of mental health issues so i don't get why you take such offense over simple concern when mental health issues in the industry is an actual serious issue that needs more attention. maybe i'm overreacting but if so, who exactly am i hurting?

I don’t know the Jaemin during Ridin and the one we see now… aren’t that different to me?
It’s one thing to have “simple concern” over his possible mental health issues and another to compare him to another persons experience, and your own personal “intuition” is weird.
Like I said before, until Jaemin himself discloses that information....?

Nobody’s offended relax, the topic’s tired is all. I’ve had enough with people speculating and doing just that 24/7.
And those artists you brought up have talked about their mental health struggles before, so why bring them up?
You might be hurting Jaemin himself? Seeing people speculating about your mental health all the time must not be easy.

We as fans have no right to be sitting here speculating about who we think might be struggling mentally.
