Even if we can all agree on how reprehensible the things they've done are I still find it unprofessional to unnecessarily bring it up. This is a JYPE trainee showcase why bring negativity and trash another company/group? Not a big deal either, but rubs me the wrong way.

my only concern is that this is being pretty cavalier about a situation that ruined women's lives. that kind of goes beyond a time where "disses" are funny. g-dragon weed jokes are always funny though

Imagine thinking big bang will have legacy for music quality lol. Its an idol group, people dont look back at backsteet boys and nsnyc and remember them for amazing music, at least not regular people. Big bang will be remembered as that criminal group who fell from grace, they went from having it all to being social pariahs. YG entertainment has been revealed to be nothing more than a front for yang hyunsuk's criminal endeavors. Only kpop fans are going to argue in big bangs favor and legacy. The disgrace is spread far and wide.

If the kpop world weren't so boringly clean cut, we would see everyone come out and shit on yg and big bang, there is no limit to the ridicule and contempt they deserve.

You know its over when even anbu stans itzy now, the exodus has begun, already one foot off the sinking ship.

Ok bigbang does have legendary club bangers that I'm still bopping to these days but that doesn't mean I'm gonna forget the fact that most of them are absolute trash in real life, I've completely lost all of my respect the moment when the BS scandal broke out and I don't give a fuck abt their "legendary" status now.

Well, to be fair, both companies have shit behind their scene only one couldn't hide it better than the others. Bigbang may have criminal record right now, but not even one of the previous shit from JYP BG ever broke out to the public and so that's the tea. And trust me, the tea is really that hot even the only one could compete which one is worse will be the part of BS and that disaster of group chat.

As for now, JYPE is leading the game with the highest close price, if they want to be arrogance and make their trainees believe them more than other agencies, let them be, ever remember how on your first day of work not to believe in competitor company rather than yours? Yep--that's how you put the employee loyalty high to your company--again, nothing new.

My conclusion is, if you can't stand any of the "legacy" that coming from BIGBANG, it's okay, they have other fans, like me, I can listen to their song, I did overlooked their scandal, do I think it's wrong? Pfft, weed people, I smoke that, I don't think that's wrong in it. And in my current boy group, which obviously you could see: GOT7, EXO or BTS, if one day there's some scandal broke out from one of them (exclude dating), I won't mind, I will continue listen to their song, I'll wait for their punishment but that's it. I'm not gonna brag and tell people the group that I loved leave behind such things while deep in my heart, they did touch me with their songs. And of course, I'm not gonna tell people to leave them behind, it's their right to do whatever things that they like, other than that, respecting people's choice to continue support whoever that they want to support also basic things to do as human.

Or it just simply: leave the people fuck alone.

Unprofessional. JYP especially, where they supposedly groom idols for good character, humility, kindness, etc. Then having a company rep kicking another company while they're down. Goes against the image that JYP says they're after.

You guys are free to discuss and disagree with other users, but using foul language and taking direct jabs towards other users for their choices will not be tolerated. We don't wish to see our users act nasty towards each other. We're going to keep our eyes on this thread. If it deviates from the topic at hand and continues to result in bashing other users, it will be closed.

Thanks to all those who have been amicable, and have chosen to discuss their thoughts rather than resort to personal insults.

Kicking another company while they're down? YGE is a criminal empire, "while they're down" implies that YGE's situation is unfortunate and they don't deserve it. They deserve worse than what they've received, nothing short of the company ceasing to exist will be satisfactory.

Not at all it doesn't..
It's just not classy to rejoice at a funeral and I'm pointing out that for JYP especially it goes against what he says. There's a difference between they deserve it and laughing in their faces.
I've thought YG was trash long before this whole scandal blew up in his face so I don't need lectures from anyone

This was absolutely unprofessional. I do not care how you feel about a company or a group but as a public figure and a VP of a music label this is something you don't do. Focus on what is the topic: THE TRAINEES.

You have a point there, every company has their own share of dirty, some of them are good at hiding it while others are just like yg (thinks they can get away with anything). Its not the amount of it but the level of dirty thats effacing them, personally I would like for all idols to stay away from weed/drugs and stuff like that, but if they did use it no harm is done (thats their problem), but the laws in korea is not the same as what where we all come from. But its stuff like BS and DUI thats hard to oversee. I never was very fond of yg (since gummy and 2ne1) but that was very low of JYG. A year ago they wouldnt dream of saying one word about BB and now they bragging about being better!!?? yes BB did have rotten apples in their team but no one can deny their huge impact in kpop..... no one!!

I have to admit, the moment YG said something about 2NE1 looks it never leaves a pleasant memory in my head. And yes, I do agree Korean Law treat drugs/LSD differently so it never bothers me if GP leaves to cast aside GD/TOP. They did do drugs, only in my personal opinion, that's not the reason for me to not support them or just completely ignore what they produce. I just wish that even if other Idols decide to do that, they know the risk and how their own country will look down on them later or worse how it will impact their career.

And for JYP... one action actually speaks volume to others. As one of the prominent figure in the company, it just not wise to simply diss your competitor openly, ethically speaking, he's at fault here. I'm concern about how the juniors, trainees, and employees saw this attitude of him honestly, hope they will be smart enough not to follow his example.

This is confirmed or is just a rumor??
If is true, it was unnecessary :jinjudge:
If is a rumor, people have to stop judging before they know the truth first... it's about time to learn :JudgyDubu:

I agree, what JYP needs to do (and other companies) is to be better than YG in action by producing great groups and songs legally, not dissing them tsk tsk.....
