Funky Monkey Babys have revealed that NMB48 member and talent Shibuya Nagisa will be the cover model for their upcoming single "ROUTE 16". Funky Monkey Babys always have a celebrity on the cover of their singles, but this is the first time they picked an idol. Funky Monkey Baby's commented:
"The new song ROUTE 16 has a theme of summer memories. When we were considering who might fit a bright and summery scene, Nagisa's bright smile that lights up her surroundings was a perfect fit... Nagisa's usual smile and an expression that we don't often see on TV, both ended up being very good cover photos..."
ROUTE 16 will be released on the 29th of June. Nagisa will also appear in the music video.
