Some updates:
Ogata Risa has formally resigned from Tsubaki Factory after the hiatus incurred by her social media scandal. She will stay under Up-Front for representation for the time being, but not Hello!Project. The other members wished her well in their blogs.
Three new members joined Angerme: Kawana Rin, Tamenaga Shion (from H!P Kenshuusei), and Matsumoto Wakana.
After a year of no new releases, Beyooooonds will have their second single out on March 3. On the bright side, in addition to it being a triple A-side, there will be 4 B-sides among different versions. 3 of the B-sides will be new songs by each of the three units comprising Beyooooonds, and the 4th is the long-awaited release of Vitamin ME (which they first put out on YouTube 8 months ago...).
So far they have the only new music announcement, but H!P as a whole is continuing to tour while they can. They've moved on from the solo ballad stages to now having small units perform, with the same audience restrictions in place, but we'll see how long they can keep that up considering the spikes in cases. Former Morning Musume member Iikubo Haruna recently tested positive for COVID-19 and had been around current members Fukumura Mizuki and Yokoyama Reina, but both tested negative while isolating.
The styling for this DVD Magazine is really nice. Such a shame it's wasted on table-top games

The audition site will open on the 22nd, and first round results will be sent out on March 3. I imagine we'll know the results by the time the summer concerts come around.
Here's a radio preview of Beyooooond's new single track Gekikara Love. It's a cover of Toto Coelo's Dracula's Tango. The single is out March 3.
Morning Musume performed Gyuusaretai dake nanoni on UtaCon the other day.
This YouTube channel is editing dance shots to be one-member focused, so it's worth a look if you have a fave you want to stare at.

Both contain the original MVs as well as dance shots and some close-up shots and alternate shots.
Finally, Kamiko has renewed her contract with McDonald's and will be representing the KitKat and Super Oreo McFlurry in their ad campaign once again this year!
