I am writing up a report for 8-weeks training periodization plan for soccer player. But before the start of any plan, I need to run some tests to determine the baseline level of the subject.
After getting the data, I need to compare it with the nomative data of the athlete of the sport. This will determine how far or how ahead of the average they are. Then I can focus on what areas are needed.
While planning, I need to divide it into cycles and within thr cycle, different block of training based on the needs.
This is what is planned at the highest level instead of just throwing a bunch of exercise together.
There are deloading and loading phase to consider. What the training volume should be.
On MS Word, I wrote a 40+ pages previously for futsal players.

It depends. Because Sports Science itself is very broad and branched out to different stuffs we can specialise in once we go for our degree.
