Bro I feel your pain

My one cousin just had her first baby last year. My other two cousins are getting married in I think November and September? Making me the only unmarried female grandchild and my mom the only one without grandkids.

Thankfully I’m not close to my cousins so I’m just straight-up not attending any of the weddings. They can’t nag me or my mom for me being unmarried with kids if I don’t even show up

I also have family members with similar views as yours and I prefer to stay away from them with a 6 ft poll. I haven’t seen some of those family members in almost 10 years and ima prefer to keep it that way.

I don't plan on going to the wedding either, but my mom is. New baby + wedding means she's gonna get hit with even more "when's your kid having kids" questions from ha siblings. I'll go for it if and when (if ever) I choose. I don't want anyone guilt-tripping me into it when their kids are literal gremlins that legit gave me an oversensitivity to the noises children make bc of how loud they are.

I got asked when I'm getting married the other month and my response was like... no, never.

Kids are expensive, and weddings even more so.
I told my mom that I'm never having a traditional wedding and that If I were to ever get married, I'd just go to city hall and we could all go on holiday as a family instead of having a 50K+ dollar wedding ceremony


It's a mess. I legit have to sit and listen to their trash transphobic opinions bc a literal wall mural of a trans person shows up in a TV show we're watching. LGBT people aren't trying to ruin their lives, they're just trying to live their lives like everyone else, I don't get why people are so prejudiced against them. The worst thing is, that there's a whole bunch of them and the anti-LGBT family members often happen to also be anti-vaxxers.

Well, I'm happy that at least my mom's accepting of my plans ~
