IKR... my Korean friend says it can get confusing. Like who takes the senority? Is it the oldest person or the sunbaenim? I think in such cases they will probably just agree to mutually speak informally to each other. As if they were "same age" friends. Although... I don't know how that would work in a everyday business environment. Once my friend told me their "boss"/superior was younger than them... and none of the employees respected him. Lol. It must be difficult having someone younger telling them what to do.
