So... I think it's just a matter or time we will hear from Soodam and Zuu :somicry:
I believe when Vine put out Lea's departure they were trying to salvage the group?
That's why they stated "we will be back with a new image of Secret Number... blah blah".
But... now that Jinny, dita and minji have put out their departure on their social media. Vine probably don't know what to put out. We still haven't heard any official statement.
I'm very sad. but I felt this was gonna happen sooner or later.
They just don't have the backing of a big company and their promotions was moving slow.
I have to say tho they had a good run. Despite some troubles they lasted much longer than all the other nugu ggs who debut around same time.

Their 5th year was close but it's sad the group never got success.

The original lineup was solid :

Lea had experience and debuted before
Jinny was an YG trainee and was on P48
Denise was also an YG trainee and was a pretty good main vocalist
Soodam's visual
Dita the first female Indonesian to debut in K-pop

Maybe the title tracks weren't good enough but Denise's departure in 2021 had an impact since no one else had her vocal strength even if they added Zuu. It was likely because idol life was too strict for her, with the members everything was alright.

They had a US Tour last year, probably as a last chance. Dita was ambassador for some brands and for the relationship between South Korea and Indonesia.

Vine was probably too "small", lacking resources to maintain the group.

The title tracks were good. But in Kpop it's more about who sings what more than if the song is really that good. We know this. If someone like XG or NMIXX released Pink Venom or Shutdown would it be a hit? Most likely not. People would say its trash. But .. because it's Blackpink the song got attention. LOL.

TBH I think Vine did OK.. but they definitely could have done better. Most nugu groups would have disbanded at first lineup change. Denise in one of her videos said her voice was deteriorating. As well as her overall health. So.. that was the main reason she left. I think Minji and Zuu filled that void pretty well. Whenever I hear them perform old songs I don't really notice any difference. Although Denise did have a distinctive tone.
