Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku member Yasumoto Ayaka's lymphoma is in remission

It's been announced that Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku member Yasumoto Ayaka's malignant lymphoma is in remission.

After being diagnosed with malignant lymphoma last October, Yasumoto took a break from her activities to focus on treatment. Since then, she participated in the performance video of "Yellow Light" by handwriting the lyrics and had been sending messages to her fans.

On April 5, Yasumoto announced via her Instagram account and the group's official website that she is in remission. She reflected, "My experience with this serious illness has made me stronger!!! When I first learned about it, I had mixed feelings. I didn't know how to express myself... I've never felt that way before." She added, "But while fighting cancer, I really felt that as my body got better, I started to change as well. Strangely, I feel like I am healthier than before!"

Yasumoto will be gradually resuming her activities while consulting her doctor. However, she does not know when she will be able to participate in live performances. Although she will be absent from the group's major debut anniversary live on May 5, it's been confirmed that she will be producing the daytime show. The evening show till introduce the group's new members.
