There is another female singer who has Vietnamese ancestry whose birth name is Wei Chiao-chi (Pinyin : Wéi Qiáojì ; Traditional Chinese : 韋喬薺 ; Simplified Chinese : 韦乔) and her stage name is Vikky from the Taiwanese C-pop mandopop Idol girl group babyMINT (薄荷水晶) which is a 9-member Taiwanese pre-debut girl group under the Taiwanese entertainment company HIM International Music which was founded in 1999.

Vikky is of mainly Chinese and French descent, but has also Dutch, American and Vietnamese ancestry.

The group babyMINT was formed through the Taiwanese survival show NEXTGIRLZ, even though they were not the winning group.

On December 22, 2023, the group released their first special commemorative album, babyMINT Loading…Fun!

The meaning of the name "babyMINT" is : “The green crystal represents the stone of vitality, and the moving musical notes are matched with a fresh image, like a summer breeze with the smell of mint grass, that is youth.”

Vikky was born on 22 April 2005 in Paris, France.
Vikky graduated from the Taipei European School.
Vikky speaks fluently French, fluently Mandarin and not very fluently Spanish.
Vikky describes herself as someone of “mixed race.”
Her hobby is learning about traditional Chinese medicine.
Her motto is : “Don’t forget your goals! Enjoy the present and look to the future with hope.”

Besides their first C-pop Idol group babyMINT,tThe Taiwanese entertainment company HIM International Music also owns other groups such as the Taiwanese rock duo Power Station since 2000, the famous Taiwanese pop rock band F.I.R. since 2015 and the co-ed group Antitalent since 2020.

At the moment, babyMINT has only appeared in 2 music videos and has still not released an official debut music video :

There is a new Thai Idol boy pop group called Oni no Hibiki which will follow the J-pop style. In this group, one of the members is from Vietnamese and Thai descent. The name of that member is Nguyễn Như Phương Đức nicknamed Touya (Thai: โทยะ; Japanese: トーヤ) and also nicknamed DEnd. He was born on 1st October 1997 in Saigon, Vietnam.

Kamonwalai Prajakrattanakul (กมลวลัย ประชารัตนกุล) nicknamed Pailiu (ไผ่หลิว) who is Vietnamese and Thai from the survival show Chuang Asia: Thailand also known as Produce Camp Asia: Thailand has ranked on number 3 place on the final episode of the show that was aired on 6 April 2024. She will debut in the upcoming girl group Gen1es which is comprised of the top 9 candidates of the show which is set to debut in 2024. Gen1es is an upcoming nine-member girl group under the Chinese record label and entertainment agency RYCE Entertainment.

RYCE Entertainment has the following artists :
- The Hong Kongese singer Jackson Wang from the K-pop Idol boy group GOT7 (2021-present)
- The Taiwanese singer Amber from the K-pop Idol girl group f(x) (2021-present)
- The Korean singer Tablo from the Korean three-member hip-hip group Epik High (2021-present)
- The Chinese singer Oscar Wang (2021-present)
- Calean (2021-present)
