FACTS. Kanna got popular because of a photo a fan shot back when she was an idol and became known as the 1 a 1,000 years idol for her beauty. But that's also the only reason she gets casted for these remakes, which makes sense for a role like Teruhashi in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. where the character is known for being so pretty that everyone, including fate, loves her (though the acting from all ends in that film was garbage). But not for all of them. I get that manga characters are pretty so of course you want someone to portray that... But I rather have someone who fits the role than one who just looks like it.
