Also, Wonho may actually still be signed with Starship, notice how they released official statements for his departure and this statement, yet they still never released a statement saying that his contract was terminated. Plus in the statement about Wonho's departure it did say that they were going to continue holding legal liablility over his cases.

Oher fandoms were calling us delusional for having hope and causing an uproar on social media, but Starship have acknowledge our efforts and Kihyun had been posting encouraging messages on Fancafe througout. Plus I hope all the people who thought it wasn't just a mission to destroy Monsta X have seen the truth now, it can't be just a coincidence that they've been targeted so much over the past few days.​

I can't say for sure, there has been a lot of speculation though. I'll put it in spoiler because it's just a theory many people seem to have:

Many Monbebe think that he actually left the group only temporarily so that he could go through with the court case as just Lee Hoseok and not Wonho form Monsta X meaning that it won't affect the group. When things are cleared up he can then return. Plus this means that if any other slanderous rumours come out against the rest of Monsta X aside from Wonho, seeing as they are still promoting without him, it shows that there is clearly malicious intent against the whole group. They also think that the reason for Starship's silence about Wonho is because they were dealing with his legal case and he's actually still under contract because they've yet to release any official statementas about any contract termination. Seeing as Kihyun had made posts saying that Monbebe were doing good and saying that everything would be okay, people think that there is clearly a plan. Also it's interesting to note that on Monsta X's page on Starship's official website Wonho is still listed as a member of the group and all his content still remains on MX's official social media accounts.
