On topic, I've always found it annoying that in our entertainment, we always see average or ugly guys getting with the hottest girls. Hardly any examples with that dynamic switched around. Sadly the reality is that in real life if people see an ugly girl with a hot guy, the girl will get so much hate and both guys and girls will think she's not good enough for him.
