BREAKING NEWS (for me at least)

It was just announced that The Boyz (all 11 members) have all signed to a new label and are officially leaving IST.

They have signed a contract with the label One Hundred founded by singer MC Mong and Cha Gawon, chairman of Parc Group

The sub labels under this company are Big Planet Made, home of Viviz and Taemin, and INB100 which is home of EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin).

Their contract with the new company will start mid December.

It is currently unknown whether they will have the rights to perform their old songs or be able to keep their group name because those trademarks are owned by IST, though the chances seem pretty slim so far.

Back it August One Hundred applied for trademarks for ‘The Boys’ and ‘더보이스.
Yesterday, November 13th, One Hundred applied for trademarks for The New Boyz and TNBZ.

Both companies are still in negotiation for transfer of the group name.

jesus christ.... mc mong's company... that is giving me major war flashbacks...

why out of all companies in the world... :TzuyuKek:

if you kiddos don't know, mc mong was a kpop group ceo over 10 years ago when he managed Dalmatian... one of the members is now XG's ceo
mc mong is basically hated by everyone in korea for some scandals he had back in the day and he is not a good manager at all... good luck to the boyz ig

HOW DARE YOU!

MY BABY

I’m messing with you, he’s just under BPM too

I've never heard of him, my apologies :palcry:

I try to be faithful and not wander from my husband very often.
The only occasional exception is kevin when he's wearing a tank top :run:

Since 100 had no other artists under them, only the two sub labels, so we have all been celebrating because all of the artists under the sub-labels seem to be doing well. Should we be worried? :somicry:

I guess it depends on how involved mc mong will be with the management of the group, you better hope for a minimum level of involvement on his part :TzuyuKek:

considering the parent company is full of veteran artist who managed to make a name for themselves and decided to leave their companies, I'd say the company is probably offering them a lot of freedom and flexibility, so maybe it will be okay in the end

I think he's co-ceo with someone else so it should be hopefully fine?

I also think he's like co-ceo of BPM and INM100 and they're fine so i'm just going to be delusion and manifest everything will be fine

100 released a statement saying they will be supporting their individual activities as well, so you're probably on the money saying they're offering them flexibility and freedom.

I hope after all of this is done we can finally figure out what Kevin's solo project that he's been working on for the past 18-ish months has been :jinjudge:

On the topic of Kevin:
I love how the internet is in a frenzy right now over the news of Sunwoo and the news of them moving companies and Kevin's just casually sitting in his room sending us videos of him playing carless whisper on the saxophone while this is all going down :wae:

I don't think IST is doing well. Weeekly is already at risk, they wasted Jihan's IT girl potential smh
Weekly is at risk??? They just had a us tour? :wut:

Weekly is literally all they have left since The CrewOne might possibly disband.

IST is going to be clinging onto Apink's comeback next year like YG's clinging onto blackpink

Their most recent album didn't sell well. Going on tours doesn't mean they're safe or doing well, it's just another job to earn money. Small scale tours also don't earn a lot considering the high cost of travelling but low volume ticket sales. But better earn something than nothing, at least there's some money for next cb.

Look at Everglow and Purple Kiss, they're also going on tours, but would you say they're not at risk? Everglow was put on hiatus for 1.5 years.
