And after thinking about it, I think I will (slowly) drop my America acct and focus on my Asia acct... just gonna finish off the BP period on it and collecting the conches.

You need to be AR50 to ascend characters to their final phase. Plus I don't think gemstones drop until AR45 (and the drop rate is really low) so maybe you can't craft them either until AR45.

I've been thinking of maxing out my traveller now that they'll have access to the electro element. Would be a good alternative as a battery for my Beidou
Traveller + the new ER artifact set would be amazing.

Really hoping they announce an update to the standard banner in Friday's live stream. I want myself a geo 5-star

So many of the big leakers are getting banned by Mihoyo (I understand why MHY is doing it but as someone who can enjoy leaks while also enjoying current content, it's sad to see!) right before the 2.1 Beta testing starts. Looks like we probably won't be getting a lot of leaks going forward

My hope is that maybe Mihoyo continues officially revealing future characters the way they did with Ayaka, Yoimiya and Sayu

Update to the standard banner would be great but I feel like we would have gotten some sort of indication that it would be coming. I don't think it's gonna happen before the 1-year anniversary.

All I know is that, based on MHY history, it'll happen around the time of the anniversary. There's rumours that Keqing will be removed and they'll be adding some new Inazuma chars (pls be Gorou). I'm waiting on the 2.1 leaks to drop before I commit to spending my next pity. If I can get my hands on Albedo or Gorou for the anniversary patch then I'm saving all my primos until then. I have over 1000 Cecelia's saved for my Geo sword user. Albedo re-run when...
While on the topic of hoarding, I'm 50 silk flowers off from reaching 1000 of those too! My Xingqiu & Hu Tao will be happy!

I'm super excited for the new housing updates like growing your own local specialties in the teapot.
So many QOL improvements. My hoarding self is excited for that!

If weekly bosses are nice to me on Monday, then it looks like I'll be able to triple crown Keqing next week! I'm honestly not sure who I'd want to crown next. Kazuha is great, but I think I'll hold off on crowning him for a while. I think his ult at least deserves a crown though...
Baizhu asked me to save all my other crowns in anticipation for finally getting him ~

I'm gonna be honest, even if they add any new characters to the standard banner, I'd personally much prefer to get a 5* weapon instead. Both my 5* weapons (Aquila Favonia and Wolf's Gravestone) came from the standard banner because I refuse to roll on the absolute scam which is the weapon banner. The only thing which would make me consider it would be when Amos Bow gets added back and that's only if the other rate-up 5* is something I wouldn't mind getting. Until then, I'm staying as far away from possible from it.


I do hope they change some of the 5* characters that could drop when you lose the 50-50 on the limited banner. I hate rolling in fear of getting more Keqing cons or even worse, getting Qiqi. Having Albedo as one of them would be amazing and I don't think outside of the realm of possibilities considering he's not a character many people use as opposed to the likes of Venti & Zhongli who can still make MHY a lot of money if they get another rerun banner.

I would like some new weapons in the standard. I'm only rolling on the weapon banner if they drop some god-tier stat sticks like the upcoming Inazuma one-handed sword. That weapon >>>>>>>

I missed out on getting the Jade Cutter and I want to give Kaeya my Aquila now that I've started to build him. Plus Keqing with Mistsplitter would be a massive upgrade.

I just want more swords on standard. atm there's only the Aquila Favonia or Skyward Blade, and I have both of those weapons. I'd like to see Summit Shaper or Jade Cutter on Standard.

I passively roll on the weapon banner whenever I'm not rolling for characters and it scammed me the first time I hit pity by giving me Memory of Dust as my first 5-star weapon. I wanted Summit Shaper for Keq
I'll build Ning eventually, so MoD won't be completely obsolete

While Genshin is still making them a lot of money, I doubt they're going to make any significant changes to its gacha system. Maybe a few years down the line when the player base would have undoubtedly been reduced or because of the competition from other games like Blue Protocol.

Btw, I'm not sure how accurate this is but I remember seeing a few months ago that apparently Ningguang was originally meant to be a 5* character but then got changed to a 4* shortly before release. Could just be complete speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if its true considering her importance in Liyue's story. I guess I shouldn't really be complaining considering I have her at C4 and she's one of my strongest DPS units even with mediocre artifacts.

And then we have Qiqi somehow being a 5* with a kit that's being put to shame by many 4* characters plus unless there's some sort of lore about her that we're yet to find out about, she doesn't really have much going for her story-wise. Watch me get her the next time I lose a 50/50 lol

I think we could ge minor changes like banner rotations, or one new banner, but nothing major like giving you an unacquired 5-star char.

It would've been great if she had 5-star scaling. I really hate how all of the Geo 5-stars have all been limited. I still need a Geo 5-star. They've all somehow managed to dodge my wishes. Praying for Albedo

I think it'd be nice if there was a way to have certain 4-stars upgrade their rarity. especially those that have an impact on the story. All signs pointing to Kaeya being Khaenri'ahn royalty for example. A 5-star Kaeya would be great!

I think Ning will be the next DPS I invest in. I have her BIS weapon just collecting dust in my inventory & I've been farming the geo dungeon so I can be a future Albedo haver

I often find myself using her ahead of Bennett bc shielding + healing + the EM buff oftentimes beats the attack buff for my team. pyro swirl infusion just kills my EC Keqing team with all the constant accidental overloads...

Diona is like 10x better than Qiqi, then there's Barbara who has almost the same C6 as Qiqi, but better. Diona hasn't left my team since I C6ed her. I often find myself using her ahead of Bennett bc shielding + healing + the EM buff oftentimes beats the attack buff for my team.

I'll be waiting for 2.1 leaks before committing to roll for Ayaka. If Gorou gets announced as one of the new 5-stars, or any new electro characters get announced I'm gonna have to save my primos. I also wanna go for the new 5-star sword as well so I'll be scraping the bottom of my primogem supply if I choose to roll for her.
I'm after the new electro characters even though I really need a new cryo DPS. Baal, Scaramouche & Yae are slightly higher on my priority list.

I really hope 2.1 is just full of re-runs, though I doubt it bc it'll be the anniversary patch. Though there'll likely be a lot of new opportunities to get primos from Inazuma. I'll be speedrunning the Sacred Sakura Tree (as much as I can) for all those wishes & crowns.

Diona currently acts as my budget Ganyu in my quickswap team. Mona omen > Diona ult > Kazuha ult+skill > Keqing ult, then repeat. The sheer amount of energy particles this team generates is insane. They clear most floors in about a minute. The new floor 11 swirl ley-line though
I cleared that Fatui chamber in less than 15 seconds with that team
