A question for the much more experienced players than me. As somebody who doesn't intend to spend any major bucks, would you bother trying for constellations on 5s or no?

I'm currently just saving primos waiting for any banners I'd REALLY like. And just wondering if they are worth the potentially huge investment, or if it's more beneficial to save for a wider range of banners?

Unless you're absolutely in love with a specific 5-star, I wouldn't bother going for constellations, no. It'll help you a lot more to go for a variety of banners so that you have more team building options available to you! Example: having 2 different 5-stars with different elements and fighting styles on a team vs. just the 1 5-star who simply gets more beefed up.

As someone with cons on a few of my 5-stars, I'd say they're only worth of you plan on using the character for an extended period of time. I have Kazuha (early C2), Hu Tao (accidental C1) & Ayato (C3) with cons and only really plan on pulling for Ayato constellations in the future since I like him enough to justify it. But if you plan on collecting more units to build out your account, then I'd say it better to go for more characters instead of focusing on a single character to hyper-invest into. If you're looking at Eula constellations, it's reccommended to either go for C1 or go all the way to C6 iirc

Though honestly, I'd say there's a point where going for constellations isn't too bad either. I'm at the point with my account where, I have enough 5-stars that hyper-investing into one character is just so much cheaper than building someone from the ground up all over again (in terms of resources/investment).

welp, just woke up and missed 80% of the livestream. Missed out on seeing Dottore model
Time to wait two hours for them to upload it on YouTube. It seems like all the Sumeru characters I want (other than Cyno) are coming out during the later Sumeru patches, or Fontaine re: Dottore. I guess I can safely go for Yae then ~



Caught the end of the anime trailer. It looks fun! Wondering how they'll go about the story without spoiling the future plot of the game, Or will it be an entirely new plot?
The TCG addition looks great. Looking forward to going up against Cyno & Itto and losing

Well we're already into the 4th region of the game so even assuming that the anime starts airing this year (I highly doubt it's gonna be any earlier than mid 2023), there's still a long way to go before they catch up. Most people seem to be under the impression that each region will have it's own season in the anime.

Yep, I think that as long as they pace it well, retelling the story via an anime should be nice
Though the Inazuma story... Hoping they find a way to fix some of the character assasination that happened during that storyline.
Oh, Dottore looks really good. I guess I know who I'll be going for after Al-Haitham

ok, finally finished watching the live stream
The new update looks really good! Looking forward to the new desert area & Cyno.
The Scaramouche & Dottore reveal though. I want to see the unhinged Dottore variant again from the manga
Dottore's VA is my favourite one so far, so they better not give him the Signora treatment...
Though his character model looks like it's designed to be playable (plus the whole cloning thing) so he should be safe
Also, that bird pet!!! friendship with endora officially ended, now the cloud retainer pet is my new best friend ~

The team composition is more important than individual weapons
