You know someone posted this on the FB group and I didn't believe them....

Probably thought might as well do what she can there if she can't go back to Korea. Now that she can, who knows what will happen. I hope she removes herself and goes back to DC.

I agree, I think it's bad timing since it's not like they knew when Korea would remove the restriction. Up until that point Handong had been practicing in anticipation to join the Dreamcatcher in their comeback. And it was obvious in her vlives and posts that Handong misses her members terribly and they miss her too.

Stan Twitter have discovered Rolling Quartz (they literally gained like 6K subs to their You Tube channel in a week) and they have a lot more fans now, including quite a few Insomnia who want them to collaborate with Dreamcatcher.

Note the Native American symbols and artwork on Iree and Hyunjung's guitars in these two clips:

Iree posted this on her Instagram the other day:


If you get a chance, like this video, they're in a competition with 11 other groups (yeah, they're ahead, but the contest runs through August 23).
In this performance though you can see Iree's new RQ sticker on her guitar and Hyunjung has covered the images on her guitar with black tape.



While I'm glad they recognize the issue of cultural appropriation, at the same time I don't want them to ruin their guitars trying to fix it. I know they bought the guitars used in the first place and Iree's guitar looks so scratched up now. Not sure how much it would cost to repaint a guitar, but I can't imagine it's cheap.

US in general is so individualistic - culture is confined to only its own race or people, covid response where individual freedom is more important than community health, but at the same time, try to enforce their western values and opinions onto other countries...
