Was just checking out dc’s Weibo and found out that they didn’t post the teasers there since 6 aug. According to some c-fans, recently all Korean idols are banned from Weibo and even douyin (the original tiktok). This affects kpop idols who are Korean nationality, Chinese kpop idols not affected.

Searched some Chinese entertainment news and looks like there is a new “unofficial ban” on hallyu, similar to 2016 situation. The reason of this recent ban is unknown.

The cb teasers and new episodes of catch Chinese are posted on dc’s official bilibili channel (China’s youtube). I guess we won’t be seeing any Weibo posts from DC or any Korean idols anymore.
