so, i looked at BP's new mv and saw they had 61 mil views in 16 hours. and at first it's annoying bc i think groups like DC deserve the same kinda attention. then i read the comments and it's a literally quagmire of dumb shit. where as a DC comment section is always nice and everyone there is actually appreciative. it's nice to be part of a smaller fandom sometimes.

I prefer smaller fandom too, although I still get annoyed by some Somnias especially on twt platform. One problem with BP fandom is many solo stans and its fandom feel like a much bigger f(x) fandom, which I couldn’t stand.

BP keeps going in a direction that I don’t like. Sometimes I wonder whether their members are happy or not (Jisoo in particular) with the path the company has set for them, despite all the success.

Smaller, bigger fandom, each had their pro and cons for sure. Dreamcatcher members can still wander around in Korea without being followed or perturbed by fans.

yeah, i feel like they aren't even a group. just 4 idols that get bunched together occasionally... not necessarily their fault, but just the way they are promoted.

yeah, it's weird for me. i came in as an SNSD fan. but when i was on soshified, there was a community that was not only (for the most part) supportive of all members, but also mostly multi fans. granted there weren't nearly as many groups at the time. but everything was so nice. i'm sure there were horrible fans somewhere, but it's just rather out of control now.

it made me so sad though when yoohyeon mentioned that she was recognized by someone for the FIRST time earlier this year...like woooot....there has to be some sort of exaggeration...but still.
