I agree, except do we know what other songs she chose to sing?
Obviously Siyeon chose songs that suited her voice and if I recall from the clip I saw of Yoohyeon, it didn't really showcase her skill (although it was a great cover).

It's like, yeah, she's a better singer than some in the top 12, but if the songs she chose didn't make her stand out from the crowd, you can understand why she's out.

I just hope Siyeon and Yeonjung become friends after this show (they seemed friendly at ISAC)

did ppl really vote based on singing skill? cause a few other nugu contestants should have been on that top 12. i always considered it a popularity contest. siyeon probably got votes because she was still on the koms & speechless hype at that time.

fo sho. Imagine if Momo or Sana were in the contest. They'd wipe the floor with everyone despite having weak voices (no hate i love both of them but just using examples of super high popularity with not super high vocal talent) either way, let's be happy with Siyeon's representation

I have no idea how they voted, but find it hard to believe it was by public votes only and judges, producers, etc. did not have any say.

TT my baby Yoohyeon... she's the best idol singer i've ever listened to and she has great technique. This is outrageous and utterly unacceptable! Too bad she chose to cover an easy BTS song instead of Secret Love Song like her legendary special clip
