Ma Yuling who got eliminated from GP999, did a live and mentioned Handong visited the rented place where some Chinese GP999 contestants stayed during a one month holiday (from the show): Xu Ziyin, Chiayi, Liman, Wenzhe, Liang Qiao, Liang Jiao, Wang Qiuru, Xia Yan, Ma Yu Ling (these the name I heard). Xu Ziyin is a good cook and she cooked for all of them for their gathering.

Seems like there was a month break during the filming of GP999. I'm not sure whether Mnet didn't allow the trainees to continue staying at the dorm during the break or was it the contestants own choice to stay together outside of the dorm during the break.
