they also had a normal fansign in NY so this hi wave doesn't seem to be much value

it just looks like an exhibit. It's not something I'd want to do.

They said that masks were required to be worn for the hi-wave portion. I think the plexiglass or whatever was also added (I didn't expect it, but with a few thousand people there, I can understand doing it. I'm not sure there was much of a restriction to how many people could participate in the hi wave since you had to purchase merch for the event). I know the fan sign was pretty limited, like 50 people or so (hence it was normal).

I agree that the hi-wave is not valuable at all. I think it was an extra $100 too.

A fan saw them somewhere later on and wanted to shake hands, but they politely turned the fan down and waved instead. The fan was ok with it, just happy they got to see the girls. So they are being quite careful.
