bon voyage first listen.. hmm.. it's ok. i still prefer maison and vision, but i think i said the same thing during vision first listen.

but the english translation lyrics doesn't seem to match the environmental message, it's more like a love song than anything to do with maison and vision lyrics. i don't think this song is originally meant to be the continuation of the trilogy, not sure why it was chosen as the title track.

Ok, thoughts.
I didn't expected to like the song this much. I thought it would be an ok song but I really enjoy this style, especially the instrumental. The rhythm, the pacing, the vocals. It just sound like something I could have composed in my dreams. HELL YEAH I like it.

WOW, okay, initial thoughts...

Visually, holy shit, incredible. The MV is gorgeous, a gigantic step up for them. However...wish we didn't have the ugly jackets, and dunno what the point of the cell creature even is, it plays basically no part.

So the album. Intro, one of their less interesting... But whatever it's an intro.

Bon Voyage however IS interesting, I like it, a lot. Not the catchiest, maybe structured a little odd. But it's unapologetically big and brash. Sounds nothing like fly high, so dunno why people who heard it earlier described it as so. I wish it were maybe a little longer, it just gets real epic, then finishes.

Demian, i dunno. It's a little jarring? Don't love it from first listen. Would make sweet boss battle music tho lol

Propose is fantastic! Shoots straight up in my b-side ranking, the dramatic chorus, Dami spitting fire.

Need to watch the perf when I get time. Hopefully the fact it has choreo means they'll promote it, or at least give it a clip.

To. You, eh. it's alright, kinda forgettable, but miles above the typical album end ballad.

First album listen:
Intro - Nice, I like it
Bon Voyage - Better on 2nd listen, I like the verses and pre-chorus (the slow and soft parts) more than the chorus.
Demian - new sound for them, but kinda messy. My least favourite in the album.
Propose - my favourite in the album. Feels like a slower Imagine Dragons Radioactive or Fallout Boy b-side
To You - Surprised by this song, reminds me of the old school c-pop/rock ballad that I use to listen to, so feels nostalgic. I like it more than I expected.

Agree on Bon Voyage doesn't sound like Fly High, and it doesn't sound like Dejavu either, which I saw some people mention it. Dejavu remains their masterpiece. It's actually 3.5 mins long, but feels kinda short, maybe because of the odd structure. Which is good, because it doesn't get repetitive or boring.

First listen, not sure yet. Going to take a second listen before i really make a statement to how i feel. Idk why but kpop songs these days always feel so disjointed lol it's so hard to even know if you like a song at first bc of how many things they throw at you.

Okay so listen #2 was much better, i was expecting all the changes in pace. Will i love it? idk maybe? I'd say my only complaint is that they pronounce it bon voyagee. lol

I can see where some people think it sounds like Fly High....in only 2 parts: The intro break down and the Bridge a the end....And, that's it about 5% of the song lol

PS slap bass at the beginning slaps!
