I agree, unfortunately most companies would probably see the time at school as an unnecessary hurdle. Go with the trainee who DOESN'T want to juggle college.
Flashbacks to my fave nugu Sori, leaving the industry at 30, with basically no education or applicable work experience.

being a person who is not a big fan of tattoos this is good to hear.

me neither but the tattoos don't bother me more than the e-cigarettes. That shit is cancerous.

I mean, she's doing fine now, and is indeed beautiful. But she's far from an industry insider, being on casual terms with a handful of idols, years younger than you, doesn't equal much. Most of her releases were crowd funded, clearly no connections in play.

She herself talked about being nervous leaving idol life behind, all her friends of similar age had careers or families etc. Something I'm sure DC's unnie line must've thought about at least once or twice, at lower points.

Being an idol really consumes a whole chunk of your life. If you don't make either a name for yourself, or decent bank, you're basically just thrown out the door with nothing to show for it. Hence why I agree with frost, having at least some credentials to fall back on would be great.

I agree. Does a degree gets you a instant job? no. But like toilet paper, you better have and don't need, than need it and don't have it.

so after dc's contract renewal, they will focus more on individual activities also. jiu & yoohyeon -> cf, sua, gahyeon -> variety, handong -> radio dj
