Exactly.. Anyway, I am a Sports Science student who scored A in my Sports and Exercise Nutrition. What I will like to say is that everyone have their own TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). Once you calculate it, you can find out the amount of calories you eat to maintain weight. If you want to lose weight, you minus 200-300 calories from it. Anymore, and it can lead to lack of macronutrients. And can also lead to metabolic adaptation.

And we often heard peoples saying not to eat carbs. Carbs hold water, so if we eat too much carbs, we can suffer from water retention making our body look more bloated. But to not eat carbs completely is completely wrong. You still need carbs as carbs give us our primary source of energy. Remember our three macronutrients are proteins, carbs and fats. And you need to eat a small portion of each macronutrients daily to enable your body to function at the highest level.
