It's a very interesting episode for me. Before ep 7, we see ghosts with grudges and want to revenge something, but they always stop before it happens, so it's easy to see them being sent to the afterlife peacefully. The room 13 ghost is a special case as she's killed humans, so I understand that the gods probably don't feel like sparing her, though that's just still so sad because she didn't get the peace she deserved. All the comments about gods coming to us in different shapes doing different things than what we expect is such a strong message.

Poor Man Wol. She's so fixated on her grudges and taking revenge that she ends up hurting Chan Sung in the process. I wonder if this is why she can't move on. I'm sure this isn't her first test in a millennium, so she probably fails every time, unable to completely let go and be at peace. (Or she is waiting for someone to really show up and fully act her revenge.) Mi Ra is annoying as usual, but I do think she doesn't deserve Man Wol's curse because it wasn't her sin.

A part of me wished that we saw anything that could possibly help the victims or prevent new cases. I realize that's not what the series is about; dealing with ghosts means everything is too late anyway.

She could have asked ManWol to help her for those guys to pay for what they did like the first ghost in the series. But because of deep grudge, she took the maters into her own hands and killed them, and she got the consequence of her decision/action. She cease to exist.

And also, that has to happen so they can make a point in the next episode about JMW's past and why she was punished to take care of the HDL.

I agree. At the end of that ep, I walked away thinking that the victim ended up becoming a criminal herself because of her deep grudge (and probably her unwillingness to ask for help as well). But yeah, it does seem like all the ghost stories are somehow related to JMW, either her past or present. I like that way, we still get layers to the story without delaying the main plot too much.

The ManChan hug at the end... No kiss but the hug was so significant, meaningful and powerful in that scene. The acceptance, respect and assurance with each other to stay by their side. It had me in tears. You can really feel they really care for each other. Chan Sung chose to stay by her side knowing everything about her past and still loves her is just heart warming.
