Vampire Knight manga creator Matsuri Hino will take center stage at an exhibition celebrating 25 years since her manga debut. The exhibition will open on November 9 and run until November 17 at the Seibu Gallery on the 2nd floor of the Seibu Ikebukuro department store.
The exhibition will cover more than just Vampire Knight. Visitors can read short stories that predate Hino's manga career and explore the world of her hit gothic romance manga.
Hino launched Vampire Knight in LaLa in 2004, and Hakusensha published the 19th and final compiled book volume in November 2013. Viz Media published the final volume in North America in October 2014. Viz also released the 2008 Vampire Knight anime series and its Vampire Knight Guilty followup.
Hino followed up the story with the Vampire Knights memories manga in the same magazine in 2013. The chapters were published irregularly for two years before Hino officially launched the series in Hakusensha's LaLa DX. Viz Media licensed the series in 2016.
Hino's other work includes Shuriken and Pleats, Wanted, MeruPuri - The Marchen Prince, and Captive Hearts.
