Was "Room Shaker" a good choice for Ailee's first comeback in 3 years?

and by first comeback i mean promoting on music shows, she released a digital single in 2017 but thats it




not feeling the rap verse but overall it's a pretty strong song imo? the prechorus + chorus + highnote are selling it
soloists like sunmi and chungha became super popular during her hiatus, she needs another ballad to go back at the top


for info, her last (promoted) comeback was home in october 2016, the song kinda flopped back then (for her standards)

i love ailee to death but room shaker is such a downgrade from home...
i was hoping she would steer towards more rnb singles but i guess not.

her vocals slayed (as per usual) but the song sounds very outdated imo

home was so goooood im still mad korea didnt like it :/
i feel like good singers can only release ballads if they want to be successful (cough cough luna flopping with free somebody)
