I am currently watching the new ongoing Japanese anime television series "The Apothecary Diaries" which is set in a fictional world reminiscent mostly of Imperial China during the Míng dynasty based on a Japanese manga of the same name which is istelf based on a Japanese light novel of the same name :

how are you liking it so far?

apothecary diaries is one my favorite manga so it's been really fun for me to see the story and characters unfold on screen.

apothecary diaries is one my favorite manga so it's been really fun for me to see the story and characters unfold on screen.

I would have preferred that each episode last 25 minutes instead of 23 minutes so that they can go a bit slower on the pace as I find the pace to be a little bit too fast.
The graphics are okay.
The animation is okay.
The music is good.
It is too episodic for me.
I prefer the Japanese anime "Kingdom", the 1994 Chinese drama "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and the 1988 Japanese anime "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" as they are more focused on the military strategies rather than the court intrigues.
