right. lowkey kpop idols these days are influencers first, but before.. companies would at least care about talent or skillset a little more. i don't blame them cos it's what sells and they're doing well with it, the same way western artists are doing well with their tiktok songs. but we can still grieve about the lossI do the abilities of a performer are still a big factor for me. But it seems most people these days just want a celebrity, whether they are any good on stage is an after thought. And the bigger companies in particular know this.
i'll deny it tooReal
One thing imma do about the idols don't like is deny them a 10.

i swear this is something kpop companies actually try and teach their trainees now, remember how....... mark said he takes lessons on how to be likeable? idk we're lacking natural variety stars, like people used to legit make it into the lineup cos they were so funnyMost groups are NOT funny. Fans just like the groups enough to find their tidbits cute enough to laugh. It makes some shows horrible to get through, so the hosts have to do the heavy lifting.

Chaewon is the newer gen all rounder for me. What can't she do?!
Nmixx has a few true all rounders. Kyujin is probably the best all rounder. Her skills in everything match or exceed most by quite a bit.
Goddess Mia deserves everything. Debuted too long ago to be new, but she deserves her flowers.

Mia from Everglow too…to the point where she was getting like 1/3s of a song + a dancebreak but she deserved it tbh!

I feel the true "all rounders" are rare, and occur naturally. Obviously I'm extremely biased, even if she isn't my individual bias lol. But I'd throw Dreamcatcher's Sua in as a perfect example... main dancer of a group that has often difficult and impressive choreography, she's well known in the fandom for being by far the most outgoing for variety, she's rapped well on multiple tracks, and in recent years has grown to be easily the third best vocalist on team too.
yes, baby yes!

I feel like there are funny idols, especially male ones, the issue is though when doing schedules and variety shows they are forced to “act normal” and then in their personal lives or personal content they can let loose and be funny again.I don't think some idol fans understand just how much they like their idols?
Time to break some hearts...
Most groups are NOT funny. Fans just like the groups enough to find their tidbits cute enough to laugh. It makes some shows horrible to get through, so the hosts have to do the heavy lifting.
I think the issue with the newer gens there is that there id such a push for “perfect” idols they can’t show personality anymore except in their free time.

NuguIn terms of deciding who's "new", I'm going to treat for the sake of this post that you are referring to K-pop performers who have debuted within the past two years, and so I might try to answer your question from that angle.
In determining who qualifies as an "all-rounder", I think it would be a reasonable assumption to say that some idols could be considered as "all-rounders" if they had a longer training period compared to those who don't, because they would have had more opportunities to practise and hone in on their craft, while juggling between school work, attending (music) academies and engaging in other extracurricular pursuits.
I also like to take into account other things about the performers themselves — namely, I would like to know, for instance, about the length of the idol's training period, and what they did during their training period, because some idols may have some long training periods, but they might not necessarily been set on the path originally for that. That is, some idols may have received training to become actors, but decided to switch paths, say from acting to performing, to improve their overall prospects. But, of course, there are idols who may continue to practise even after having received training, because training only often fulfills the "basic requirements" of what is expected from the job, and even though they may not debut originally, or be recognised, as all-rounders, they could be eventually regarded as such.
The other thing I sometimes like to know is where the idol studied because the idols of today would be considered more well-off financially than those who debuted from previous generations and with some attending art schools, which would be seen as a privilege because it is not considered as a standard education in South Korea. Also, sometimes these idols may also be receiving training at academies, which is sometimes where they are recruited by agencies. Also, being here (at the academy or at their company) gives them access to opportunities, such as mentors and the like.
Sometimes, the centers chosen to represent the group during their performances can also indicate which members would be considered as "aces" or "all-rounders". And sometimes before debut, agencies, in promoting their groups, endorse particular members by describing them as having "outstanding performance ability", which makes identifying these specific type of people easier.
If you want some names of male idols, though: Won Bin (Riize) Zhang Hao (ZB1), Sung Hanbin (ZB1), Seok Matthew (ZB1), Dohoon (TWS), Jaehyun (BND); and for female idols: Rami (BM), Asa (BM), Ahyeon (BM), Natty (KIOF), Julie (KIOF). And there's more names that I haven't mentioned either, but those are the few names that came to my mind.

Interesting topic regardless about "All Rounder". I think very few idols fits this description, at least from my definition, my standards. Nowadays it's mostly about idols being good at everything but not the greatest in any. I'd say back in 2nd and 3rd Gen idols were probably more imbalanced in skills but they had their "speciality" : vocal, dance, variety, etc. even "visual".
To get as close to being an "ace" I'll try to mention some of them :
Kep1er Youngeun, maybe only lacking in variety skills, and her group isn't as known or popular
Babymonster Ahyeon, her introvert/quiet character won't shine in variety shows but she's great otherwise
NMIXX Kyujin, her vocal isn't as the same level as Haewon or Lily but she's impressive on stage and with her dance
H1-Key Hwiseo impressed me a lot during Queendom Puzzle
Lightsum Juhyeon, but lacking in variety skills and her group being "nugu"
If you add variety skills and personality/being likable, IVE Ahn Yujin would be a great candidate. You probalby don't think at first about her vocal or her dance skills but she's not bad.
