It's pretty rare for pop music to have lyrics focused on empowerment, friendship & emotional comfort. I think having messages like this in their music made them a positive influence.

A Brand New Me, Dear Tree Hole and After That are 3 of my favourite SHE songs but I never knew what the lyrics meant so these translations make me happy
Their lyrics are an important factor for why their songs did so well. It strikes a chord. Years later, for a lot of their fans, the lyrics of all the non-title tracks are still in their memories. I've seen recent videos of Chinese fans play games like guess the SHE song/complete the lyrics and they're so good. Also imo since the content is meaningful, the songs age well. It's not cringey for them to sing the songs again now. The members genuinely love their discography. They'll sing their songs for fun in their own get togethers lol.
Taste. I really love Dear Tree Hole, also one of my top SHE songs.

I so agree! It really is beyond the usual idol image, in a really good way. Share some of those complete the lyrics videos? : o Sounds fun! They really dominated the charts back in the day... the music rarely sounds dated too. I'm glad they got the discography they have!
