Welcome! (Both to this thread and on the forum) :shablob:
hi there, welcome to the thread :shablob:

i'm really happy to see even more fans around here

Thank you both!
they are releasing so much stuff lately that is almost impossible to keep up :wow:

i think it has been a whole year since they debuted, i recall i wasn't sure if i was going to like
them since i was still mad about the gen 2 disbanding but they are such a fun group that i just ended loving them

Honestly, I remember being dissapointed but already expected BiS2 to split soon when reading some of the interviews they had for the Are You Ready single.

But I instantly got hooked on to BiS3 just because of how much their debut reminded me of when the first gen 6-man BiS and BiSH started and I'm honestly quite surprised by the progress they've been making within one year since the 4 of them had zero experience before this.

i still get nostalgic just thinking about BiS2, i can't even watch their Mv's without getting sad :okbye:

but lately i think i'm getting over it, mostly because the new Wack groups are so good and also because the ex BiS members are doing new stuff

about BiS3 i wasn't expecting much of them at first since i recall 1 member quit just 1 month after debut (and another just 1 day after joining) so i remember thinking that the group was not going to last but they really defied expectations

btw which is your favorite Wack group?
since all the groups have their own style i always get curious about that :shablob:

what really bothers me is that both Paradises and GTTB are soon going to stop performing Gang Parade songs
so all their catalog is going to eventually be forgotten, just like BiS2 discography :tears:
I don't understand why they can't keep performing their song? Maybe to keep the authenticity in Paradise and GTTB. Still though.

maybe since they recorded those songs under other company and now are under Warner, it could be that they don't have the rights anymore?
but i think they performed some songs from GP recently so we'll see when they start their tour :wherearethelies:
in the case of BiS that is just Watanabe being a jerk :doge:

for example BiS3 regularly performs songs from gen 1 but never of gen 2 despite second and third being on the same label

I guess but it's like you say, if he sold the rights to their previous label it's pretty much impossible for them to perform them again. We can only wait and see at this point.

I don't really know much about BIS prior to now but if one member that was in their previous group is under another label and they songwrote most of the songs, it could have affected their rights to perform the song.

Favourite group is definitely still BiS, since they were what that got me into the alt-idol stuff back in 2013/2014 which then continued onto WACK. And personally, all 3 generations has got my favourite songs on basically every release hahah.

Definitely rights issue in the case of G/P, I still wish they at least had an online last live performance with Saki for Gang Parade, big cry moment.

BiS3 actually never performs any songs from the past generations because Watanabe said something about moving on from the "shadow of the original BiS" which a lot of people thought he was talking about BiS2 since he tried to do the same things then. He also said he doesn't want to repeat the same mistakes he did in BiS2 (*cough cough* too many new recruits and the League system) which makes me extra happy.

It'd be interesting to hear what the old songs would sound like with the current 4 members though, but at least we still have WAgg to give some fanservice on the BiS1&2 and GP songs.

That would be my pick as well.
Doesn't Saki still work with WACK? I think they were planning to do something for her but I can't remember. :tears:

Saki left the company on June 1st IIRC, but she instantly got plenty of choreographing jobs as a freelancer which is great (she did PIGGS' first live choreography)

Does anyone know where this is from?

They had a small cameo in the TV series of Super Radical Gag Family, a lot of people were surprised cause this wasn't mentioned anywhere hahah.

Last close look of their 10-day long School of Wack event in PARCO SHIBUYA. Would've loved to buy the tickets for the online live viewing, but it was region locked to Japan, final day of member appearances was today :(

They also reposted the NAP Fashion Show on the official WACK Youtube channel, the last "school song" still makes me laugh since it's basically all of WACK singing a song with the lyrics as chinko variations and a bunch of perverted nonsense in WACK fashion lmao.

Ryo Yoshizawa and Sugisaki Hana (both popular actors) say BiSH is their favorite artist

for some reason several news sites are sharing this story (maybe they are a big deal?)
