I found oh through the gay thread and I've been lurking since the beginning of 2023.

Probably won't be active outside of there. I'm pretty much bg only.

I Ult infinite by default?

Solo/actors: Lee Joon and Jaejoong.

Boys planet fan. Casual ish with a few of the group's that came out of it. One pact, xlov, evnne and zerobaseone.

Everyone else is varying levels of "here for the music" and "listen/watch content because gay".

Thanks I'm unsure of being active outside of there because I'm trans. I know ht isn't big but after spending most of 2024 looking up tea on pannchoa I know better than to think all kpop fans are cool about that. I make a point of not checking the news all the time so I seriously think one of the reasons my mental health waned last year was from seeing all that shit.

Pann girls are some the most ableist transphobic homophobic misandrist people you will ever meet but they give 0 shits about posting tea/rumors. Whereas everyone on reddit clutches their pearls at the idea of talking about queer idols even on kpop uncensored.

Pann is like a sketchy bar complete with armys having a bar fight with sm fans/fans of other hybe groups/tokkis and other ppl just trolling that you go to to meet a contact.

Seriously. A lot of people shit on kboo and they are the buzzfeed of kpop and they do post other people's mean comments sometimes but the difference between them and pannchoa is like the difference between second hand smoke and shooting chewing tobacco into your veins.

I am not. But I used to follow a lot of entertainment trials extensively because I subscribed to Variety and the Hollywood Reporter for years. Plus I live in the desert and liked to attend trials in the summer because the courthouse was air conditioned. Learned a lot from reading and watching.

I live in the California desert. You probably see me at unusual times of the day for California because I am a terrible insomniac. But yes we have multiple Aussies lol.

So I've been collecting a lot of things for my debut on the gay thread including indie queer artists to post so that we can support our fellow queer ppl even if it's simply a view or a follow.

The fires were scary but fortunately I was far enough away to where I only had ash and smoke. The electricity was turned off multiple times to avoid fire danger which was not fun.
I am not thrilled about the new federal government. Hopefully California is opposite enough for me to feel less anxiety. It is definitely a waiting game.

I am cis het but I also have serious health issues and even spent more than a month in the hospital a few years ago. MediCal covered me then but I don't know what happens next.
I hope everyone is respected. I don't want anyone to be mistreated. A sad turn in my country.

I will never understand why medicaid was a leftist thing. Especially since so many republican voters have benefitted from it.

I was thinking about starting a disability thread like how we have a gay thread but I was worried ppl would cancel me for saying this or that idol is autistic. (Seriously the way ppl on reddit will go out of their way to tell u (tbc I'm not on any socmed because trans) that taeyong or whoever isn't autistic but then go on and on about how taemin is so "unhinged" and funny makes me want to scream.)

I'm autistic and have a math learning and working memory disability and hypoglycemia and mild ibs. A lot of those things are interconnected btw.

Would a place where u can talk about it with other ppl and share resources be something ur interested in?

I think it is possible that members might be interested in something like this. I would have great difficulty in discussing things of such a personal nature. Not because I am ashamed of anything but I have anxiety and it would flare a lot talking about my issues.
