A JYP official told a TV report on Tuesday that the company is currently reviewing in several directions.

"JYP Entertainment has decided to clean up its acting parts," a media outlet reported earlier. "A large number of small-time actors are expected to appear as free agents."

Currently, actors from JYP Entertainment include Yoon Park, Shin Ye-eun, Kim Dong-hee, Park Si-eun and Shin Eun-soo.

From what I understand, JYPE is being restructured. Maybe a subsidiary or a partnership with another actor agency. It makes no sense for them to end the contract with all these actors and trainees actors. In the last showcase they also recruited new trainees actors and yesterday they announced that Shin Yeeun is the new mc of the music bank.

Yeah i hope that’s their plan. The 2 shins, especially yeeun, are rising rookies. It would be a waste to just hand them over in a silver platter. Also JYP has a branch called JYP Pictures that made Dream High and i think He is Psychometric so i wonder what’s going to happen to that.

JYPE is like a perfect model for that BG vs GG stereotype. BGs survive off of fandom/physical albums/concerts while GGs have the general public/digitals/TV/CFs. But I guess Twice has the best of both worlds.

Do you all remember that leaked 2019 group schedule that someone posted way back in December or something? I can't find the tweet again, and I doubt it was an actual leak so much as just lucky predictions. They got the first five comebacks of the year right, but are missing the mark for the rest.

2/11 - ITZY ✓
3/4 - GOT7 (Jus2) ✓ (was really 3/5 but close enough)
3/25 - SKZ ✓
4/22 - TWICE ✓
5/13 - GOT7 ✓ (was really 5/20 but close enough)
6/3 - ITZY X (ended up being 7/29)
6/24 - DAY6 X (ended up being 7/15)

They also completely missed the SKZ repack on 6/19 so yeah. These were the remaining dates, but several seem pretty far-fetched now. G7 does have a gap in their tour schedule in Sept, but I doubt they'd be able to squeeze an entire comeback in.
