I don't know what to think tbh, she looks hot (in both sense of the word) and while I'm intrigued I also think the song and concept doesn't seem very public friendly.... and I'm kinda tired of them putting experimental songs as title tracks. Those should be b-sides because if people get put off by the title they won't listen to the rest of the album either. But hey I hope I'm wrong.

Taeyeon on album: Overall, my 2nd album has songs with weighty melodies. There are hopeful lyrics, lyrics that are about 'me', an album with diverse genres and lyrics. There are 12 tracks but it includes 'Four Seasons' & 'Blue' which you've already met. So in total, 10 new songs.

Taeyeon on title song: The title song is 'Spark'. Like the word, it represents a small fire, a spark, it expresses the process of a small spark within you becoming a big fire through pretty lyrics. Lyrics express the will and passion that stir within you.
Taeyeon on title song, 'Spark': It's passionate, proactive, overflowing with will, it's a song for that side of you. So personally, through this song, I received courage while preparing. I hope this song speaks to the situation that each individual person is in.

Taeyeon on favourite song: My favourite song on this album is 'Gravity'. It's a song that I've previewed. I did let everyone hear it while performing at concerts. First of all, many people really liked it when they heard it at the concert venues.
Taeyeon on 'Gravity', her favourite song from album: It's a song that I cherished very much for a long time and liked, so I'm happy to include it in my full length album. The reason why I like it is because the lyrics hit close to my heart.

Taeyeon on favourite lyrics: Like I said earlier, I really like 'Gravity' lyrics and of the B-side tracks, there's a song called "Find Me". In that song, there are lyrics, "Falling doesn't mean anything to me anymore".
Taeyeon on favourite lyrics: If each individual applies it to situations, it can be interpreted differently, it could mean 'there's no more place to fall into' or 'even if I fall, it's meaningless to me', more of a hopeful lyric so I really liked those lyrics.

Taeyeon on an episode while recording/preparing album: There isn't an outrageous episode because I prepare my album quietly. It's an album I prepared for a long time, I unveiled a few songs at concerts before the full length album came out, and also had single albums.

Taeyeon on album preparation: The various processes I went through and diverse emotions I had while preparing did have a bit of an impact and the lyrics do contain my emotions. So I do have affection for this album. It feels more 'me'.

Taeyeon on album preparation: What else is there? Oh! I tend to explain and share things that fans are curious about through SNS, and this time, I uploaded a photo of me doing Pilates and FIRE!
Taeyeon on album preparation: I shared a picture overflowing with passion with a fire emoticon and as that got unveiled with a spoiler video, and it became a spoiler that's not a spoiler?! This album is related to fire, thanks to 'Spark'.

Taeyeon's wrap up: First of all, thank you for creating such a cool 'Spark'. It's too cute. 2nd full length album is one that I worked on for a long time to make well so please give it lots of love. At concerts, I hope we can create time where we share many stories and music.

I can’t hold myself back so I’m gonna listen to the rest of the album and wait til the MV comes out to listen to Spark. It sounds so good already :sejeongcry:

OMG GUYS IT'S SO GOOD!! Spark is so fun and Gravity is amazing as expected but Better Babe came out of left field and destroyed me, amazing!!

I think it's actually cheaper on Itunes than other places btw?

I'm going to have to do a deeper review later but so far besides the title track I think I love Gravity, Wine and Better Babe the most, LOL is such a cool song though and so unexpected, she's so versatile :heartpar:
