I'm confused with these M2 X Genie Music Awards, are they new? They are not the new one from last year called MGA right? But MGA was MBC + Genie and this one is M2 + Genie so now there are 2 Genie awards? And why is Mnet creating another award show when MAMA already exists? Someone explain please lol

It's the same Genie award from last year. This year Genie award are collaborating with Mnet instead of with MBC.

I think Mnet is being greedy. They changed the award name from MGA to MGMA this year.
