Hi, I have a question! It's written in Yuju's trivia (first page) that her stage name means 'affection', but I'm not sure if it's true? Could someone give me a source on that? I found an interview from 2015 where all girls talk about their real and stage names and Yuju's part is this: 유주(예명 뜻: 파워풀한 가창력의 소‘유주’) Trans: Yuju (name meaning: so'yuju' = owner, owner of powerful vocal skills).
And later in the same interview: 본명은 유나, 선배님들 중 같은 이름이거나, 비슷한 어감의 이름이 많아 회사에서 심사숙고 끝에 지어주셨어요.(...) 한자로는 넉넉할 유에 그루 주. 다른 의미로는 소유주의 의미가 있어요. Trans: My real name is Yuna, there are many sunbaes with the same or similiar name, so the company made (my stage name) after careful consideration.(...) In Hanja it's 'yu' as in 'many' (this one: 有) and 'ju' as in 'root, stump' (this one: 株). The other meaning is 'owner'. Did she say something different later on?
