❤I really like Boogie Up for what it is. A WUJU summer song. But Its obviously not Magical school level for me.

I think the success is great and tbh there hasn't been a summer song in a while that I actually liked like Boogie Up. I do like RV red side but its been a while since Red Flavor.

The success I think is really more due to fandom building and timing than the song itself. The song charted about the same on melon as La La Love, but they had 3 times the album sales of WJ Stay? in the first week. Ujungs worked really hard to stream the MV(one of our weaknesses) after La La Love era disappointment. C-ujungs voted so well, all Ujungs bought albums and i and k-ujungs streamed the mv much better than before. A very group effort!

I think looking at the growth of album sales for the summer concept and finally getting recognition with multiple wins I'm curious as to what the next concept will be.

It's a good song for me, pretty well balanced lines, and it still has the cosmic strings! And better than Happy at least (but Happy is still one of my favorite albums don't kill me).

My family went to Korea a few weeks ago and I asked them to buy some albums, but everywhere they went most were sold out! And one shopkeeper told them WJSN is famous! . Ujungs are getting stronger and stronger every comeback, and now with the attention, the star road thing, the Japan tour, I'm so excited for them!

Do you both live outside South Korea?

I'm in the US, and I've come to realize that I often will not have a good feel for what's going to be popular in South Korea. For example, Red Velvet's Red Flavor was a monster hit there even though I'd rank it just "average" among all Red Velvet title tracks. I look at Boogie Up the same way. It's not one of my favorites, but I'm glad it's one of WJSN's title tracks.

Ahhh in my case I don't really enjoy this song in particular; I like this kind of concept and all. It's just my personal taste, I love most of Wuju's songs, but this one just didn't click :/

Yes I'm not from Korea and even if I have an idea about Korean music taste (solo artist, ballads and cute concept for example). I love Red Flavor by the way.

But for Boogie Up it's my personal preference I didn't like it and it didn't know it was going to do this great : )
