Makes sense to me. Not the ban per se but that fans would be upset. Entertainers will have to pick a lane: embracing Chinese propaganda celebrating their complicity in the attack on South Korea, or benefitting from access to the South Korean market.

South Koreans have every right not to support artists who celebrate the attack.
