it's true tho? they've never topped it for so long even with all the major news about them like Mina not attending Twicelights or Sana being hounded by knetz

Brands reputation is irrelevant bs which no one knows how it is calculated. The only thing we know is that buzz affects it. So groups who get mediaplayed a lot and have bunch of articles posted about them daily, rank higher. And another thing is that they count solo activities as well, hence groups like SNSD, Girl's Day sometimes rank high even though they aren't active which kinda hints that member activities played role.

WIL and YoY will get their platinum certifications for streaming this month. As for HS, it’s long overdue so I hope in the upcoming Gaon notes, it would be cited for having crossed 100 million streams. It’s weird that it was released only a month after Likey and performed about the same and even better initially but Likey passed 100m back in February. Likey really showed her strength in the long run which is what I hope will happen for Fancy too.
