I’d say Kihno releases should count as albums sold. Since they’re just basically albums, but in USB format. So it’s still 100% a physical sale.
They’re stupid tho, so I wish they’d go out of trend soon.

I saw a video of it. The box thingy has to plug into the audio jack. Or an adapter if you don't have one. I looks super inconvenient to carry around, not to mention expensive, but I guess people will know what you're listening to with that thing dangling from your phone. Somehow, going from an ipod with 100K songs to a plastic box with 12 songs on a dongle seems likes a step backwards. I guess I'll stick to my old-fashioned CDs and digital downloads.
edit: So far, I've not seen a single Twice album on Kihno, nor from any JYPE groups. SM seems to be all-in on the platform though.

I see...that's quite interesting to know, actually. It's gonna be hard to guesstimate sales from non-hanteo stores to explain hanteo-gaon sales gap if they are using using different criterias for measuring.
