smngg should've debuted in 2018  they had the most perfectest bestest lineup in history, i will never stop being mad about how sm threw away the opportunity by waiting too long

I'm still salty...but i promised not to say anything about this theme again because the girls moved on already...but yeah....2018 was a good year to debut them (SM debuted two bgs on 2019)

Maybe it was just hacked?

Eh.. I believe is being hacked or she personally want to delete which I have no idea why.

But I don't see why SM will step in to tell her to delete her weibo account just because she going to debut. The fact that she has been keeping it for quite long time during her trainee days. ofc, I don't remember/know whether there is a similar situation for the other China members of SM current active artists. But if it is about "trainees cannot have social media account before debut", then SM should have already asked her to delete a long time ago when she first started it. So yes, I doubt"her deletion of her weibo account" is about debut.

If I'm not wrong, I hardly see SM involved in their artists' Chinese social media platform. As far as I remember even SM current artists' weibo accounts seem to be managed by themselves not SM as I remember an artist asking how to create/what happen to her password or so on her IG account?

Personally feel that SM will look stupid for asking their trainees who have weibo account to delete it just because they are debuting, when this can be the way to get publicity for the new gg in China.

WayV members all have weibo but they're not that active. However, since WayV are a Cpop group I guess they're a bit different. As of now, the only chinese idols under SM who aren't active in China (so Yixing doesn't count) are Chenle and Renjun and they don't have weibo.

So for me it's not impossible that SM asked Ningning to delete her account. I mean, she has it since even before she became a trainee (just like I'm pretty sure Chenle and Renjun had an account before debuting) and SM must know hers was still public so it means they didn't mind as long as she didn't post anything.
I can't see any reason why she would delete it because if she left SM she would probably be active on Weibo and fans send her sweet and cheering dms and according to Yiyang it really helped her and Ningning probably feels the same way about them so I can't really understand what she would benefit in deleting her Weibo account.

I really hope it means that she's debuting soon. But we don't know anything so maybe it doesn't mean anything after all

Don't you guys know that rumor about Ningning that has been going around for months now?
That she used to give info on sm artists and trainees to her fans and that she asked them for money or something... it has been going around on weibo and for all I know a lot of people were mad at her for that.
Honestly I said here before, I will be very surprised if she debuts... its been years since we heard from her and along with this rumor there was other that she was dismissed by sm with others Chinese trainees

I haven't heard about it, and it hasn't been "years"..... I highly doubt this is true, Ningning had haters even before she joined SM and if there's no proof then it's most likely not true (and Ningning is far from being poor so why would she need money??)

Yes, we can't considered WayV in this case because they not just Cpop but they debuted with the aim to attract the Chinese market . I'm quite surprised they are not active there? But do they have a group weibo? I think is fine for personal weibo/ personal work use weibo account being inactive. I think is really depend on personal for social media update

Don't know if it's true, but it's out on Weibo and I had a impact there, don't know why I-fans refuse to talk about anything that might not be positive :FitPar: and no! I don't hate Ningning, I think I saw ~someone~ say it on twitter right now haha, in fact she has always been my favorite rookie.
But the thing is I'm realistic. Lami and Koeun left and there's a high chance that Ningning and Hina also left. Of course I don't want that to be true, but I'll only be sad if I'm not realistic and don't work with all the real possibilities.

I think most people didn't hear that because a lot of i-fans don't talk about bad things... but I read it at a Facebook group for the girls in my language.
And I think having the profile at naver doesn't mean a lot, really. Lami and Koeun profiles were deleted after they made their sns accounts, not after they left, i don't think it's very updated.

Ahh I see. True, they removed Lami and Koeun profiles after their sns accounts. Oh well, for now I think is best to really wait for sm to release the info (which I really hate it). I really hard to tell all those rumors when there are so many fake "insiders" and some people jumping to conclusion. :(

1. I have seen the weibo post about on twitter Ningning I didn't post it on here not because it was negative but because it was just ppl complaining about stuff we already know, aka when Ning answered yes/no questions in her dms on weibo where she said if she did or didn't know a lot of rumored/fanmade trainees and where the whole Deyi rumor picked up steam. I could see why people would think it was unprofessional but I find it weird that they're only complaining about it now when they're about to debut rather than 2 years ago when it actually was happening. There were no screenshots or proof of her asking for money just someone claiming it nor her spreading any info about other sm artists apart from whether or not she'd met/seen them.

2. The rumors of Ning leaving have been pretty much constant since Yiyang left and stem from this idea that the Chinese girls are some sort of group package. Every rumor being either that she left w one specific Chinese girl or that sm kicked out all their Chinese trainees en masse both of which seem not to have happened. She didn't leave with Yiyang as first rumored and she didn't leave to compete on a survival show with Aria Jin as recently rumored, and there is certainly no evidence of sm getting rid of all their Chinese trainees. Is it possible that she left? yes anything's possible but it's hard to take these rumors seriously when they're all based on the same faulty premise. Also, I doubt she'd react to leaving by
A. Continue using her weibo as normal without telling her fans (which you'd have to believe if you think she left a while ago) or
B. Just deleting her weibo (which you'd have to believe if you think she left now)

In my mind the most likely scenario is SM found out about the scandal figured she couldn't be trusted to have a personal sns and made her delete it. This might lead to her being kicked out or just be the price she has to pay for debut but I don't think she's out yet.

If they debuted in 2018 they'd have at least two EPs out by now. They'd be touring. They'd be choosing a fandom name right about now. We'd be arguing about title tracks, who's the real visual, who has the best voice and who's the real maknae of the group.

But no, we are in an alternate universe where their debut got postponed. So we are reduced to looking for news -- any news --- on fake accounts on Twitter.
