I didn't see who the other nominees were. but I guess it would be obvious that the other top runners would include (ive, gidle, new jeans, and maybe lesserafim?). Everyone did so well this year. I can't think of any of those names that isn't deserving (including aespa). it all depends on what MAMA wants. they usually aren't nice to sm artists.

Unless it something completely obvious that they can't hide like taeyeon won for best female vocal soloist or something like that. I mean her only competition would be like IU. No shade to any other but if they gave it to someone else it would rise suspicion

the past few Mama's I think NCT won a few? but it's usually not the 'big' prizes.
