NuguSM doesn’t really do like “one word” concepts so girl crush, well it could be but they will change it just like their other groups, they also tend to be a bit too explicit on explanations and the “fastest and powerful” part could be a hint (?) (((superhero concept)))(?) idk

Ideally I’d want them to do a cute concept. Girl crush has become so oversaturated. It feels like there are 1000s of girl crush groups and barely any do cute concepts anymore. I don’t want them to blend in! I want them to bring back the cute concept and add a unique SM aesthetic twist to it.

I could see them having a concept similar to Oh My Girl's more ethereal songs, like Closer and The Fifth Season (SSFWL)
I wouldn't take the 5 member rumour too seriously. Off the bat we already have four introduced rookies in Koeun, Hina, Lami, and Ningning. Unless Ningning leaving is true then that's only three. But then there's also Jimin and the documentary girl which brings us to three and I doubt SM would promo them in things if they weren't going to debut. Then there's Helen who I feel like is one of the last minute pieces for the puzzle. That's already seven girls who are known, plus any unknown trainees. I'm expecting anywhere from 8-12 honestly. Maybe even bigger

People who believe that are silly. It’d be like JYP making Itzy a 9 membered group when they already have Twice. SM won’t debut 3 5 membered girl groups in a row, it’s just unrealistic

Lurkeri'm not going to believe anything about rumored trainees who haven't been seen lol. they might be referring to tsuki, but she left a while ago.
anyways, on the topic of members: i feel like it's probably going to be 6-8 members, but it might follow a concept similar to nct's too so there might be more members and promotional subunits.

I highly doubt that Ningning is leaving, first she was casted by SM. If she wanted to leave SM would probably beg her to stay like they did with Winwin. But she has no reason to leave, in terms of activities she is extremely well treated, people forget she's the one who got the most lines in most of Shining Stars OST. She will be at least as well treated as Chenle. Not only that but she has weibo, we would know it if she left.For me she's locked in the lineup.

I’d consider Koeun, Hina & Ning shoo-ins and maybe even Jimin since she was only promoted a year ago, so surely that must mean something that they picked her out of the plethora of girls they have

I feel like Koeun is pretty secure in the line up but then again that might just be wishful thinking since she's my bias. I feel like Lami is the one that will get the most buzz when they debut so SM will probably want to debut her. I mean she already got articles written about her just from a couple of pictures. She's definitely the most anticipated trainee. If they were debuting in 2019 I would've been more confident about Jimin debuting but their debut is in 2020 so I'm not 100% confident she'll debut either. I mean it's been almost a year since we saw her. I really like all the trainees so far so I really hope they're all debuting but honestly I don't think they all will. I just don't want to get my hopes up.
