Hi long time no see! Happy Hina Day!

5 members is really unrealistic, not only did they debut small groups twice in a row but RV are already 5 and SM won't debut a group with the same number of members.
As usual I bet on 7 to 10 members.

I highly doubt that Ningning is leaving, first she was casted by SM. If she wanted to leave SM would probably beg her to stay like they did with Winwin. But she has no reason to leave, in terms of activities she is extremely well treated, people forget she's the one who got the most lines in most of Shining Stars OST. She will be at least as well treated as Chenle. Not only that but she has weibo, we would know it if she left.For me she's locked in the lineup.
The only one I can see not debuting is Lami because her last SM activity was the SMROOKIES APP teaser (or winter garden? Can't remember which one came first). Koeun and Hina sung the OST so while it doesn't really mean anything, I can't see SM debuting the group without them especially without Koeun.

Honestly all SMTRAINEES are pretty so it doesn't mean they will debut based on their face.

At this point I can’t be for sure on no one until we spot them together or something but I do feel like Ning Koeun & Hina are going to make it I really do hope jimin and Helen makes it

I just hope Koeun Hina Ningning and Lami will be in the final lineup after all these years of training, suffering, experiencing many emotions and counting the days together, imagine how good their chemistry is! SM don't deprive us of that!!

Idk why but i don't think Helen will be in the lineup....

My bet is still 7 members...

I feel like Helen will be in the lineup honestly, she's a really good dancer and I feel like her and Hina could easily be the main dancers of the group. SM isn't one to hold back on debuting idols who are talented and ready (Chen, Baekhyun, Chenle)

Honestly we won’t know who’s debuting until the lineup is revealed. SM have been quiet for years now and they would’ve scouted new girls between then and now, so for all we know the group could have a majority of completely new faces or all the rookies plus a few new faces etc. the possibilities are endless. I feel like the reason SM ditched the Rookie system was because of Rookies leaving (Herin & Yiyang) and they didn’t want to continue introducing trainees when it’s not certain they’ll debut

That would be an interesting route, it's a shame SM have never done something like that for a girl group. To humour this idea, we know Lami can play piano (her mother is a piano teacher) and I think Ning also plays piano? We've lost our musicians Herin and Jungyeon... and we saw the girls miming playing instruments for the Ceci photoshoot! I kind of hope there's some hidden musical talent in them that we haven't seen yet!

That's how I took it. I mean if you think about it they're already catering to Korea, Japan, China, and (maybe) Australia. I wouldn't be surprised if their is a Thai member or SEA member, there'll more than likely be another English speaker (maybe even two) either from America, Canada, or UK.

- There will also be 3 main/lead vocalists, 1 of them being NingNing and the other two being Korean members, one of whom will be the Taeyeon/Wendy level vocal of the group.

- Lami won’t be the visual, a hidden member will be. Personally I’m not 100% sure Lami will debut and if she did I still don’t think she would be the visual, but she’d still be considered a part of the “visual line.”

- There won’t be any SEA members, just Japanese, Chinese and possibly Korean-American or European.

- Jimin will be a member and will be one of the more popular girls of the group (internationally and in Korea.) I feel like she’d have the same sort of attraction to fans that Seulgi has.

- There will be 9+ members. SM won’t make them a small group, they’re going big this time.

No offence but NingNing isn’t visual material to me. She’s pretty, but a visual isn’t just “pretty”, a visual is simply put a member that is best suited to Korea’s standards of beauty (ex: Irene, Jisoo, Tzuyu) or for more of a detailed explanation, a member that has a small face, big eyes, a vline shaped jaw, pale skin & small lips. Jimin would be the most realistic option but I still think they’ll have a hidden member that’s a visual.

This isn’t to say that the visual is the most attractive member because personally I find Jennie prettier than Jisoo, Yeri prettier than Irene and Sana prettier than Tzuyu, just that those members perfectly fit the visual role. I think all the girls are stunning, especially NingNing, Lami & Jimin, but stunning ≠ visual
