i still think the group will have 9 members. hina, jimin and ningning definitely debuting. helen has a higher chance of debuting too. lami and koeun.... im still holding on hope for our koleader. it would just be weird having anyone but her be leader of smngg.

The only trainee I’m confident in debuting is Jimin for now. I still believe Hina and Ning will likely debut, but given how Lami and (potentially?) Koeun left without anyone knowing, it’s possible that the same could’ve happened with them. I want to keep a positive attitude about it though, so hopefully Hina and Ning are still in SM, but it’s been 4 years since we last saw them so I can’t really be all too confident in them as opposed to Jimin who was only just introduced a year ago

3 years actually, if you count Shining Star OSTs. Even though I know it doesn't guarantee anything. And it's not yet confirmed that Koeun left. About Ning, she was active in her Weibo acc liked some pictures and since she didn't unfollow SM accs yet so I still have hope and about Hina I really don't know

Cute! It's a shame Lami has left, she was so popular and has already reached 100k followers on Instagram despite not promoting for 5 years. There's no point in arguing over why she left though because we'll never know the answer.

Honestly, though, I'm excited about the hidden members, just because I'm kind of hoping they have girls as charismatic, talented & pretty as Joy who also wasn't known before Red Velvet's debut. SM will have 100s of girls in the company, so I'm not worried that they haven't got enough trainees or that they don't have anyone ready to debut, especially now that it seems like a final lineup has been made.

Well, everything happens for reason and I‘m sure Lami and perhaps Koeun had good reasons to leave. Sometimes your dreams and goals change, especially when you are young.

But I‘m really excited to see the final line up! SM is always good for surprises.

Kicked out doesn’t have anything to do with them not being in the line up.

CL, Hyolyn And Hani left JYP before Miss A debuted, it doesn’t mean that these girls got kicked out either.

But they aren’t them and they are some of the longest trainees it looks more like they just didn’t make the cut idk about Koeun bcuz she’s most likely still there unless she’s waiting for the new gg to post something until she comes out of hiding
