At that time I was searching for a group to follow, to "stan", and they caught my attention. I liked their title tracks. So I said, why not follow them ?

Upon debut i thought sonamoo would be huge... kpop really didn't have 1000 debuts a year back then... i thought they were unique. and after seeing the girls charming. Oh well... Pristin also... hmmm. yeah...

I often saw Pristin being mentionned, they were promising, fandom wasn't huge but they were loyal and dedicated
I thought BOL4 could've been Davichi's successor (I mean as a duo) but the popularity gap between Jiyoung and Jiyoon was too huge and it didn't work
Everglow could've been a good contender with their "strong" concept like First, who was a sort of female version of BG sounds and choreo. They could've gained more casual fans and probably more hardcore ones. It's not too late but it's hard to catch up the previous years.

I got into K-pop quite late so these are my examples. Of course I went back to the past to discover other groups but it's different.

No idea but I do think she's not as popular as her 2016-2020 period, regardless the duo didn't last so BOL4 became a soloist.
