Here's the original link:
I'm surprised no news was written about this on K-Pop fansites. Given that they're planning to sell their shares, and the recent BH commotion, do you think it's possible that the company BH is acquiring with multiple famous idol groups (including a top boy group; i.e BTOB?) is CUBE?

Super curious about the second company BH is about to acquire. I have about 10 possibilities in mind, Cube among them. opcorn:

I would've said the same a year ago, but if BH is acquiring CUBE and is able to give them pointers on how to manage artists, it might be beneficial for them to stay at CUBE.btob should leave cube as soon as they can, do a beast 2.0

I honestly hope so. Cube was doing good at the beginning of the year, but now with Kuanlin mess, investors are pulling out, and they might need to renew their management again. So merging with BH could be benefficial for them.
Also, it might help them to debut their new boy group.

Hum I'm a bit ambivalent to this. If it's true, Cube has a brand name, but their management doesn't seem compatible to BH style. Dunno how easy is to change corporate culture without resistance. I'm pretty sure Cube's upper echelon would be stubborn to change.
interesting...

Cube used to have my ult boy group Beast but now I've grown to despise the company...I love the artists but I do hope that if this happens, Big Hit really comes through and does a 180 to the company because they're pretty much shit.

Right, but their shares are being sold by the companies that own them so it's interestingIdt Cube is an independent company.
I think most of you miss the information on the article that said that D'Live, the company selling their Cube shares, only has 30% ownership of Cube whole share. So there is still 70% shares that aren't being sold (at least not publicly announced as such). Of course it is still possible for Big Hit to attempt to acquire 100% of Cube's shares but as Cube is a publicly listed company, the attempt will be more complicated and more expensive than buying a privately-owned company such as Source Music (GFriend's managing company).
