As the roots had magic in them that made it impossible to cut them, Soozerbell cast a spell from the book she received. It made the roots loosen their grip and become weaker. Then Rektina sliced the roots with his diamond sword. breaking the remaining magic and freeing the little girl. To thank them for freeing her, the girl gave them a pendant that she claimed would help them when they face the Monster in the GFX Caves. She also told them one more thing. "Remember to make a wish." ​
